ARDI Mission:

ARDI's mission had been to be a leader in the related fields of reverse engineering and emulation technology. In the sense that we did many things before other people and companies did them, we were a leader. ARDI was not financially successful, but it's possible that some of work qualifies as prior art that invalidates some software patents.
